This policy describes how rclone-personal (the "application") handles Google user data. The application is a personal backup utility operated only by its owner.
Data is used only to copy, synchronize, verify and restore the owner's own files between the owner's computer and the owner's Google Drive. It is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics or any purpose other than backup and retrieval.
OAuth credentials are stored only on the owner's computer with restricted file permissions. Backup content is stored in the owner's Google Drive account, and sensitive archives may be encrypted by the application before upload. No Google user data is stored on this website or on any server operated for this website.
No Google user data is sold, rented, transferred or disclosed to third parties. The application does not use advertising, tracking or analytics services. Data remains within the owner's Google account and the owner's computer.
The owner controls all retained data. Files can be deleted directly in Google Drive, and the application's access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page (myaccount.google.com/permissions). Revoking access invalidates the stored OAuth credentials; backups already stored in Drive remain until the owner deletes them.
The application's use of Google APIs is limited to the purposes described above. Its use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
This application is for the personal use of its owner and has no public user base. Questions can be directed to the owner through the Google account that authorized it.
